However\, the merit obtained by offering of Katina cannot be nullified by anything until one achieves the ultimate goal of Buddhist aspiration which is Nirvana”.  \nIt is also believed that the merit\, or the positive karma\, gained by the offerings at the Katina ceremony could reduce the negative effects of other minor bad karma one may have committed. One would be blessed with long life\, happiness\, good health\, good complexion\, physical strength\, peace and wisdom in this life and many more lives to come until one attains Nirvana.  \n“Kathina” is a Pali word meaning “strong.” Buddha used this word to explain about robes offering for monks & nuns because it is very important great act or deed which we all should perform in our lifetime. According to Buddha’s    advice\, monks and nuns used to observe rainy retreats and stay in one place\, developing their spiritual path and practicing compassion\, nonviolence\, peace for all beings\, and protecting the Precepts. Practicing their monastic life\, they help devotees with their spiritual needs. After completing three month retreats\, lay people used to offer robes\, food and gifts for monks\, nuns\, and share merits with each other. This great event was performed only one time a year; it’s a group event\, that’s why it’s very important. Every Buddhist country used to celebrate this great event of sharing merits and invoking blessings and showing their unity and friendship to the world. \n     Offering (“Dhana’)\, four requisites\, other necessities and making contributions/donations\, for the benefits of the dispensation of the Buddha\, and holy Triple Gems for invoke blessings\, merits for you\, your family\, and loved ones. And transfer merits wishing peace and happiness for your dear departed ones it’s important as we human beings. We all depend on our merits.  \nPracticing generosity “Dana” is a great traditional practice of all who follow the Buddha’s teaching around the world. They practice offering every day of their life\, not to get something material or worldly\, but rather to reduce their craving\, anger and delusion and sharing things with others out of compassion. They know this great practice will help them one day to destroy all the defilements and attain enlightenment to end all sufferings.  \n————————————————————————— \n🌹”කල්ප 30 ක් විපාක දෙන කඨින පිංකම”🌹 \nබෞද්ධ ජනතාවගේ ඉමහත් ගෞරවයට\, පූජාවට නිමිති වී තිබෙන උසස්‌ම පින්කමක්‌ ලෙස කඨින පිංකම හැඳින්වීම වටී. \nකඨින පූජාව යන්න සමාජය තුළ මුල්බැසගෙන ඇති උත්තරීතර වචනයකි. එතරම් ජනහදවත් තුළ සදානුස්‌මරණීය වන්නට හේතුකාරණාවක්‌ ඇත. කඨින චීවරයක්‌ මහා සංඝරත්නයට පූජා කිරීමෙන් ලැබෙන ආනිසංස කඨිනානිසංස නම් වේ. වර්ෂය පුරාම චීවර පූජාව කිරීමට හැකියාව තිබුණත් කඨින චීවරයක්‌ පූජා කිරීමට හැකි වන්නේ එක්‌ විහාරස්‌ථානයක වර්ෂයකට එක්‌ වතාවක්‌ පමණි. ඒ නිසා මෙහි සුවිශේෂත්වයක්‌ ඇත. කඨිනය යන වචනය පිළිබඳව අර්ථ කීපයක්‌ ඇත. ඒ අතර තද බව\, ගොරෝසු බව\, මුවහත් බව\, ස්‌ථිරසාර බව\, නොසැලෙන බව\, සෘජු බව\, කම්පා නොවන බව\, තියුණු බව ආදිය දැක්‌විය හැකිය. අනෙක්‌ කුසලයන්ට වඩා කඨින චීවර පූජාමය කුසලය ප්‍රබල වේ. බුදුසසුනේ සඳහන් අට මහා පිංකම්වල පළමු පිංකම වන්නේ මේ කඨින චීවර පූජාවයි. \nපංචානන්තරිය පාප කර්ම හැර වෙනත් සෙසු අකුශල කර්ම ප්‍රබල කුසලකර්ම වලින් වැසිය හැකිය “කුසලෙන පිථියති” යන්නෙන් දැක්‌වෙන්නේ එයයි. කඨින පිංකම වැනි ප්‍රබල කුසලකර්ම සිදුකර ගැනීමෙන් තමා කළ සෙසු අකුශල කර්ම පවා වෙනස්‌ විය හැකිය. කඨිනය යන්නට ගොරෝසු යන අර්ථය දක්‌වා ඇත්තේ ඉන්දියාවේ ශීත කාලගුණික තත්ත්වයට වස්‌ත්‍ර සකස්‌ කරගත යුතු බැවිනි. ගොරෝසු වස්‌ත්‍ර නොමැති වුවවොත් අධික ශීතල නිසා රෝගී විය හැකිය. “සීතස්‌ත පටිඝාතාය” යන්නෙන් දැක්‌වෙන්නේ සීතලට ඔරොත්තු දීම සඳහාය. \nවස්‌කාලය යනු වැසි කාලයයි. එදා ඉන්දියාවේ වැසි කාලයේදී අනෙක්‌ ආගමික පිරිස්‌ එක්‌ තැනෙකට වී ඔවුන්ගේ ආගමික කටයුතු කළහ. භික්‍ෂූන් වහන්සේලා සුපුරුදු ලෙස චාරිකාවේ යෙදුනහ. එම අවස්‌ථාවේ අනෙක්‌ ආගමිකයන්ගෙන් විවිධ චෝදනා එල්ලවිය. පක්‍ෂීන් පවා වැසිකාලයේදී කෑම සොයාගෙන එක්‌ තැනෙකට වී හිඳිති. සියලු සත්ත්වයන්ට මෛත්‍රී කරන්නට උගන්වන ගෞතමයන් වහන්සේගේ ශිෂ්‍යයන් කුඩා සතුන් පාගමින් අලුත් තණ පාගමින් වැසි කාලයේ සැරිසරණ බවයි. එම කාරණාවන් හා තවත් කාරණාවන් හේතුකොටගෙන බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ විසින් භික්‍ෂූන් වහන්සේලාට වස්‌ කාලයේ එක්‌තැනෙකට වී ආගමික කටයුතු කරන්නැයි අනුදැන වදාළහ. එනම් “අනුජානාමි භික්‌ඛවේ වස්‌සානේ වස්‌සං උපගත්තුං” ‘මහණෙනි වර්ෂා කාලයෙහි වස්‌ වසන්නට නියම කරමි’. යනුවෙන් අවසර දුන්හ. ඒ බුද්ධ නියමයන් අනුව අදට වසර 2500 කට වැඩි කාලයක්‌ ගත වෙලත් උන්වහන්සේගේ අනුශාසනාව ඒ අයුරින්ම ක්‍රියාත්මක වීම කෙතරම් විශ්මයජනකද? \nලෝකයේ වෙහෙර විහාරස්‌ථාන ඇති බෞද්ධ සැදැහැවතුන් සිටින හැම රටකම බොහෝ විට වස්‌ කාලයේ වස්‌ පින්කම් කෙරෙනු ඇත. අවසානයේ කඨින පිංකමද සිදුවේ. දැන් දැන් කඨින පිංකම පිළිබඳව දැඩි උනන්දුවකින් ක්‍රියාකරනු ලක්‌නට ලැබේ. කඨින පිංකම සෑම විහාරස්‌ථානයකම උත්කර්ෂවත් අන්දමින් පැවැත්වීමට ගිහි-පැවිදි උභය පාර්ශ්වයම සංවිධානය වෙති. එක්‌ විහාරස්‌ථානයක මූලික වී කඨින පිංකමක්‌ භාරගැනීමද දුෂ්කර කරුණක්‌ වී ඇත. ඒ එතරම්ම පිරිසක්‌ කඨින පිංකම් භාරගත් ලයිස්‌තුවේ සිටීම නිසාය. \nකඨින චීවරයක්‌ අනුදැන වදාරන්නට විශේෂ සිදුවීමක්‌ ඇත. එනම් බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ සැවැත්නුවර ඡේතවනාරාමයේ වැඩවෙසෙන සමයේ පාවා නුවර වැඩවෙසෙන භික්‍ෂූන් වහන්සේලා 30 නමක්‌ සැවැත්නුවරට වඩින්නට ගමන ආරම්භ කළහ. උන්වහන්සේලාගේ බලාපොරොත්තුව වූයේ බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ වැඩ වෙසෙන සැවැත්නුවර ඡේතවනාරාමයේ වස්‌ කාලය ගතකිරීම සඳහාය. එහෙත් උන්වහන්සේලාට නියමිත දිනට සැවැත් නුවරට ළඟාවීමට නොහැකි වූහ. ඒ නිසා සාකේත නම් නුවර වස්‌ කාලය ගත කළහ. උන්වහන්සේලා එම වස්‌ කාලය ගතකළේ බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ දැක ගන්නට නොලැබීමේ කනස්‌සල්ලෙනි. වස්‌ තුන් මාසය අවසන් වූ විට එම ස්‌වාමීන් වහන්සේලා යළිත් වරක්‌ සැවැත්නුවරට වඩින්නට ගමන ආරම්භ කළහ. අතර මගදී මහ වැසි පතිත වීම නිසා ගොහොරු මඩ සහිත බිමෙහි වැසි ජලයෙන් තෙත්වූ වස්‌ත්‍ර වලින් යුතුව ඡේතවනාරාමයට වැඩම කළහ. \nඑම භික්‍ෂූන් වහන්සේලා බුදුහිමි වැඳ පිළිසඳර කතාවෙහි යෙදුනහ. වස්‌ කාලය කරදරයක්‌ නැතිව ගත කළාද? සමගියෙන් විවාද නැතිව සතුටින් ගත කළා දැයි බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ ඒ භික්‍ෂූන් වහන්සේලාගෙන් විචාලසේක. එහිදී භික්‍ෂූන් වහන්සේලා සඳහන් කළේ ස්‌වාමීනි අප සමගියෙන් විවාද නැතිව සතුටින් වස්‌කාලය ගතකළ බවයි. එහෙත් අප සැවැත්නුවරට වැඩම කරන විට මහ වැසි ඇදහැලීම නිසා අතරමග මඩෙන් හා වැසි ජලයෙන් පීඩාවට පත්වූ බවත් තෙත් වූ සිවුරුවලින් යුතුව පැමිණි බවත් දැන්වූහ. එවිට මහාකාරුණික බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ ඒ ගැන සිතා තවත් සිවුරක්‌ තිබුණා නම් මේ ආකාරයේ දුෂ්කරතාවයකට පත් නොවන බව සලකා වස්‌ වැසූ භික්‍ෂූන්ට කඨින චීවරයක්‌ ලබාගන්නට අවසර දුන්හ. \n🌺 කඨිනයෙහි බලසම්පන්න භාවය පහත ගාථාවෙන් දැක්‌වේ. \nපඨවිරිව න ජාතුකම්පතේ – න චලති මේරුරිවාතිවායුනා \nවජිරම්ව න භිඡ්ජතේ ඝනං – තමිධමතෝ කඨිනන්ති වුච්චති \nඑනම් මහ පොළොව සේ ස්‌ථිර වූ කුසලකර්මයකි. එම කුසලය මහාමේරු පර්වතය සුළඟින් නොසෙල්වෙන සේ නොසැලෙන පිංකමකි. එසේම වජ්‍ර පර්වතය සේ බිඳිය නොහැකි වූ කුසලයකි. \nදෙපට සිවුර\, තනිපට සිවුර\, අඳන සිවුර යන තුන් සිවුරෙන් කැමති චීවරයක්‌ කඨිනය සඳහා පූජා කළ හැකිය. මසා නිමකළ චීවරයක්‌ මෙන්ම චීවරයක්‌ වශයෙන් සකස්‌ නොකළ චීවරයකට ප්‍රමාණවත් වස්‌ත්‍රයක්‌ (දුස්‌සං) වශයෙන් පූජාකළ හැකිය. \n🌺 අටමහා කුසලයන් වන්නේ \nකඨිනට්‌ඨ පරිඛාරං – වාසදානං ච උත්මං \nබුද්ධප්පමුඛ සංඝස්‌ස – දානං ධම්මස්‌ස ලේඛනං \nඛෙත්තදානං ච බුද්ධස්‌ස – පටිමාකරණම්පි ච \nකරණං වච්චකුටියා – අට්‌ඨ පුඤ්නි වුච්චරේ \nඑනම් – \n1. කඨින පූජාව \n2. අටපිරිකර පූජාව \n3. උතුම් ආවාස කරවා පූජා කිරීම \n4. බුදුපාමොක්‌ මහ සඟනට දන්දීම \n5. දහම් පොත්පත් ලියවීම \n6. කෙත්වතු පූජා කිරීම \n7. බුද්ධ ප්‍රථිමා කරවීම \n8. වැසිකිළි කැසිකිළි කරවීම – දැක්‌විය හැකිය. \nමෙහි පළමු පිංකම වන්නේ කඨින පිංකමයි. ඒ අනුව එහි ප්‍රබල බව සිතාගත හැකිය. කඨින චීවර පූජාව සමගින් අතිරේක පිරිකර පූජා කිරීමද සිදුවේ. ඒ සඳහා කැමති කෙනෙකුට ඉඳිකටුවේ සිට විහාරස්‌ථානයට අවශ්‍ය කරන පුද පිරිකර පූජා කළ හැකිය. \nකඨින පිංකම පිළිබඳ සඳහන් කරනවිට නාගිත මහරහතන් වහන්සේගේ නම අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම මහරහතන් වහන්සේලාට කළ කුශල කර්මයක්‌ ඇත්දැයි ඇසූහ. එහිදී නාගිත මහරහතන් වහන්සේ පෙර ජාතිවලදී කළ කඨින පිංකම්වල හා අනෙකුත් පින්කම් ගැන විස්‌තරයක්‌ කළහ. ඒ අනුව\, \n“කඨින දානං දත්වාන – සංඝේ ගුණ වරුත්තමේ \nඉතෝ තිංසේ මහා කප්පේ – නාභිජානාමි දුග්ගතිං” \nඋත්තම ගුණ ඇති මහා සංඝරත්නයට කඨිණ චීවර දානය පූජාකර කල්ප තිහක් දුගතියෙන් තොරවූ බව හා තවත් ආනිසංශ ගෙනහැර දැක්‌වීය. \nමෙසේ බලන විට නිවන් දකින ආත්ම භාවය දක්‌වාම විශිෂ්ට වූ මනුෂ්‍ය සම්පත් ලැබීම සඳහා කඨින පිංකම හේතුවේ. කිසිදු අඩුවක්‌ නොමැති ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨ මනුෂ්‍ය ජීවිතයක්‌ සඳහා මෙන්ම දිව්‍ය ආත්මභාව ලැබීමටද කඨින පිංකම් බලපානු ඇත. එපමණක්‌ නොව සදාකාලික සැපත\, උතුම් නිර්වාණ සම්පත්තිය උදාකර ගැනීමට මේ උතුම් කඨින පිංකමේ බලය හා ශක්‌තිය ද හේතුවේ. \n————————————————————————— \n何谓“卡提那”？ \n卡提那是巴利文“kathina”的音译\, 它是出家人律制生活中的一项行持\, 即僧团经过了三个月雨安居的密集修行后所进行的一个和乐清净之聚会。卡提那庆典是在家人为僧众而举办\, 供养“卡提那衣”给僧团是其重点。“卡提那”所带出的含义是深远的。这是感恩三宝的表现\, 更是僧信善互动的楷模。 \n卡提那之缘起 \n据《律藏•大品•卡提那犍度》，有三十位比丘，着粪扫衣，持三衣，在树林中居住，过着托钵乞食的生活。随后，这些比丘欲往舍卫城拜见佛陀。当他们步行到裟歇陀镇时，适逢雨季，他们遵循戒律的规定，不再前进，而在该地雨安居。 \n当为期三个月的雨安居结束后，豪雨仍盛，地面积水，到处充满泥泞。比丘们穿着湿透了的衣物，提着疲惫的步伐继续往佛陀的住处前进，一直到舍卫城拜见佛陀为止。比丘们抵达后，顶礼佛陀，然后坐在一旁。 \n佛陀跟到来做客的比丘互相关心问候是当时的风俗之一，因此世尊问：“比丘，你们怎样过呢？是否得到足够的维生？在雨安居期间你们是否舒适、团结、和睦一致？托钵是否成问题？”“世尊，一切都很顺利，我们得到足够的维生；我们在雨安居时也舒适、团结、和睦一致；托钵也没有什么问题。” 比丘回答。他们接着告诉佛陀有关他们自从雨季开始之后的旅途情况。 \n佛陀以此因缘说法后，告诉比丘们：“比丘，住雨居的比丘，允许受卡提那衣。” 于是，雨安居结束后，在家信众欢喜布施卡提那衣给僧团，僧团进行卡提那僧羯磨（僧羯磨即僧伽会议之意）选出适当的比丘接受卡提那衣。 \n欢迎您们带来任何素食来供养僧团，日用品或文具。别忘了带您的亲朋好友来参加这项殊胜的活动! \n————————————————————————— \n“Kathinanca
